If you live in the UK and you weren't there, why the hell not?!
It was huge. There were top rated riders from around the world in attendance, from MTB and BMX. There were displays from the dirt jumpers in the purpose made arena, featuring two stands of seating, a large roll-in and four sets of doubles (two four packs). In trials the Martins headed up a British team containing the Tounges and Chris Acrigg against a team of riders from around Europe and the US. BMXers not only rode the dirt jumps with the MTBers, but had a Vert from PRIMO and a street course. The general public had a dirt test track this year featuring a small trials section to play on and in a different part of the arena, a dual course with start gate, double jumps and laser timing device from the Kis Dirt City boys. The retail section was awsome, some of the discounts made you wonder just how much these places make all the other 362 days of the year. I purchased a BMX at half RRP, you may have seen me with it late on the Sunday. The DJs are probably worth mentioning too, in particular the Pashley DJ and the Dirty Habit sound system.

Steve Geal, Superman.

Scotty B and Luke "Skywalker" Smith share a little pre show huddle. Penny for your thoughts?

The UK V's World duel format worked well. Here's one of the first obstacles, Pashley's Eddy Tongue is just pulling ahead of a Spanish Mony rider who refused to give me a free video so doesn't get a name check. Ha.
The UK's Chris Akrigg on the pirimid section.
