KIS BSX Round 1 | ||
The BSX scesion kicked off
last weekend in a traditionally gnarly way. The course was a one-off built
just for this race at Baskerville Hall near Hay on Wye. The course was
set up in three straits winding down the hill. The first strait featured
three average sized jumps the last of which turns immediately into a double
berm. Out of the first corner the riders are strait onto a jump or, on
the inside, a mogul section before hitting the big jump, at this venue
a 27 footer had been constructed for the men, with a chicken run for the
mice. The next corner had three lines to choose from before the long last
strait with a big line on the right and a small line on the left. Over
all an exiting looking course with plenty to challenge everyone from the
Pros to the learners. The 24 Seven boys were on, as-per, taking first and second in Pro. Also the Atherton family were doing excellently, Gee won Junior men and Rachel not only won Youth Female (from being the only entrant) but also came third in Youth male, not bad for a days work. Im looking forward to riding one of these KIS races myself sometime so I might see you at Horton Hill near Banbury (June 17-18th) or on of the other races this year.
